Elizabeth Rosa is an artist, living in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Elizabeth draws inspiration from birdlife and landscapes found in the South Island of New Zealand. No matter the subject, colour is always a focus for Elizabeth, using bold, bright colours to draw attention to the work. Her past body of work has included a series of New Zealand native bird portraits. Her current body of work is a series of large scale beach front paintings, taken on New Brighton Beach.

Elizabeth has a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Canterbury, but quickly realized her passion for oil painting. She is largely self taught in painting but has attended classes at Art Metro in Christchurch, Risingholme, The Drawing Room, and also drawing classes at Hagley College, Christchurch.
